The international certification center CERT International (EAASS accredited certification body) awarded the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Pediatrics certificates confirming compliance with the international quality standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 7101:2023
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health, noting that significant work has been done at the center to achieve international recognition. Now modern medical equipment is installed there, including a Perkin Elmer mass spectrometer from the USA for screening rare genetic diseases.
In addition, the center's specialists successfully identify and eliminate hearing defects in young patients, perform cochlear implantation operations, plastic microsurgery of the facial nerve, audio screening of newborns and rehabilitation of babies using digital hearing aids.
Every year, the center performs more than 5 thousand surgical operations, over 80% of which are high-tech.
Receiving an international certificate indicates that the services provided by the center's doctors fully comply with international standards. In addition, the introduction of the latter opens up broad opportunities for improving the center’s position in the region, improving its scientific activities, and developing new diagnostic and treatment methods.
