EURASIAN ASSOCIATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND SECURITY

non-profit organization founded as a platform for dialogue between authoritative industry business communities and associations, expert and certification companies

EAASS MLA Mutual Recognition Agreement
One of the objectives of EAASS is to expand the Multilateral Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Conformity Assessments and Independent Assessments (EAASS MLA) and harmonize accreditation practices in the region
Independent conformity assessment services provided by EAASS MLA signatories are recognized under the EAASS MLA because they have been peer reviewed.
The accredited conformity assessment results of these conformity assessment bodies are recognized by all signatories of the EAASS Charter throughout the Eurasian region and other stakeholders at the international level

EAASS forms a regional network of conformity assessment bodies (including laboratories, inspection bodies, certification bodies, experts, etc.) that are approved by the EAASS Accreditation Committee.

This network facilitates the acceptance of conformity assessment results throughout the region, thereby ensuring the safety, continuity and reliability of the supply chain of goods and services from the manufacturer to the final consumer, and also helps prevent possible threats that could negatively affect the company's performance and reputation.

The EAASS MLA is based on the results of each conformity assessment body's assessment carried out in accordance with EAASS procedures within the requirements of ISO/IEC 17011.

For an updated list of EAASS MLA signatories and their recognized areas of accreditation under EAASS, please visit the EAACR website.
